Quick Duck Woodward Traditional Jacket Review
The Winter season is now upon us and the snow and cold air are just around the corner which means its time to be out looking for a new winter coat! Luckily, and with great thanks to WFN and Carhartt, I was given the opportunity to review one of the great jackets that Carhartt has to offer!

Appearance:

The first thing you're going to notice when you get this jacket is just the way it looks, and by that I'm talking about the color, the material, the placement of the pockets and even the collar on the jacket. You are instantly going to be drawn to the way that everything looks like it was so perfectly put together! Not only was this jacket built for the rugged outdoors-men we all are, but its got just enough style that you could really wear this thing anywhere and be the best looking guy there!

Construction:

Now for these cold winters you're going to need a jacket that you can really count on, something that's going to keep you warm and dry so you can stay outside for hours on end! Whether you're out working on the farm, fishing and camping in the boonies or out playing in the snow with your kids, this is the best jacket for you! It's made with a 60% cotton 40% polyester shell that's coated with a extremely durable water repellent finish that makes the rain or melting snow bead of it like water off a ducks back! (hint: its in the name!) It's also sporting four large pockets on the outside and two nice sized ones on the inside to keep everything from your lunch to your mp3! And speaking of music, for all of us who like to whistle while we work, now we don't have to! Because the nice people over at Carhartt know whats best for everyone and installed a headphone port that lets you keep your tunes with you without having all those pesky cord getting in your way! And while you're out there doing all the manly outdoor things that we men do you need to make sure you've got all the energy and stamina you can find, and running around in a big heavy winter coat that drags you down and makes you sweat just won't do. However the Carhartt Quick Duck is now 30% lighter than the original Sandstone Duck, but its every bit as strong!

Comfort:

The Carhartt Quick Duck in my opinion is the most comfortable jacket that has been made. It's very warm for how lightweight of a jacket it is! Where I live we've already hit -10 and around here that's pretty cold! And while my family and friends all complain about how cold it is I'm just sitting there nice and warm in my Carhartt jacket!

Fishing Performance:

I found this to be a great jacket for fishing, I loved that it kept me perfectly warm and dry even when those pesky rain clouds tried to soak me to the bone! With the large pockets I found it easier to go further up and down stream because I was able to take more things with me in my jacket instead of trying to carry a tackle box through the trees everywhere I went.Overall I find this jacket to be outstanding in every way possible! From its looks, to its fit, it really is one of the best jackets on the market! But you don't need me to tell you that, it says on the tag: "IF IT CARRIES THE NAME CARHARTT ITS PERFORMANCE WILL BE LEGENDARY!" So what are you waiting for?? Get out there and buy the jacket that is going to make this winter the most comfortable and most legendary winter yet! Get out there and buy your Carhartt Quick Duck!
