The Pompano Beach Saltwater Slam - June 11

The Mercury/SeaVee Pompano Beach Saltwater Slam will be June 11 from the Hillsboro Inlet Park. Targeted species are Cobia, Dolphin, Kingfish, Tuna and Wahoo. Prizes will be awarded in many categories including optional entries. Big fish payouts are expected at a minimum of $15,000, $7,500 for the team with the heaviest combined weight and other prizes.  

Tournament entries also receive a ticket for the chance to win a brand new 29? SeaVee valued at $132,000.

Kickoff party and registration will be - Thursday, June 9th, 6pm-10pm at the Pompano Beach Civic Center, 1801 NE 6th Street, Pompano Beach.

Check out will be from Hillsboro Inlet Park followed by a shotgun, Bimini start at 7am - Saturday morning. Markers for the Bimini start will be The Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse at the north and the Pompano Pier at the south.

Check in will be at the Hillsboro Inlet Park no later than 4:30 pm. Scales will open at 4 pm.

The Saltwater Slam is part of a 3 ? leg tournament trail that begins with the Saltwater Shootout in May, The Saltwater Slam is the last opportunity for the 75 boats to qualify for the invitation only Saltwater Showdown Championship leg of the PBSC in August.
