When you know a large area holds pigs, familiarity with different hunting methods can mean the difference between a barbecue and a day of bird watching. Hogs are finicky beasts and you need to be prepared to bring the hunt to them in whatever way the situation demands.
There are times when limiting yourself to a treestand or blind will make your hunt nothing more than a test of patience. Consider a spot and stalk if you don't know where the pigs will be on a given day. Other times, if you need to contain your shot to a specific area, be ready to send an arrow downrange instead of a bullet. Know how to quickly read your environment and adjust your method suddenly when looking to bag a boar.
