Salute to Service, Back-to-Back Beards and Grand Slam Fishing Marathon

Denver (May 25, 2016) – Outdoor Sportsman Group – Networks, encompassing Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network, will be commemorating, applauding and honoring our servicemen and women, past and present, on Memorial Day Weekend with revering and exciting programming across all three networks from May 28–31.

A three-hour salute to our heroes will air on Sportsman Channel with a Memorial Day Weekend Marathon presented by Cabela’s on Saturday, May 28 beginning at 5 p.m. ET. The marathon will be a sequence of episodes about veterans from six popular series – The Ultimate Hunt, Modern Shooter, Skull Bound TV, Bowhunter TV, Beyond Rubicon and Long Range Reality. Viewers won’t want to miss this special evening paying tribute to the men and women who risk it all for our nation.

Outdoor Channel will be observing the holiday with a Memorial Day Marathon of Duck Dynasty on Monday, May 30 beginning at 7 p.m. ET. With six consecutive hours of Duck Dynasty, viewers will revel in all of the Robertson duckmen shenanigans. From surprise vacations, to luxurious duck blinds, to down and dirty camping, this marathon highlights an entertaining family that remain true to themselves while keeping the outdoor lifestyle as their foundation.

Extending the holiday weekend, World Fishing Network will air six back-to-back episodes of Grand Slam Fishing on Tuesday, May 31 beginning at 6 p.m. ET. The Grand Slam Fishing Marathon presented by Under Armour certainly smells fishy with footage of yellowtail kingfish, Australasian snapper, cod, Trevally bass, monster kingfish and more.
