Online Locator for Fishing Guides and Charters

Sometimes it's good to know your options. As the weather across the country is about to turn, anglers itching to get out fishing can start looking at some options for a guided trip at the BoatUS Angler Fishing Guide and Charter Locator. Whether it's a trip for steelhead on the Great Lakes, fishing for monster bass in Texas, or seeking snook in the Florida flats, the locator allows anglers to easily search for a guide or charter operator by region, state, fresh or saltwater. Over 1,300 guides are now included - some offering discounts to BoatUS Members.

Also included is a 20+ question checklist that anglers can use when researching a potential guide or charter company, and a special section that includes chartering tips from pro angler Luke Clausen and National Bass Guide Service's Capt. Steve Chaconas, as well as helpful advice from the Fishing Wire's Jim Sheperd. Anglers are also encouraged to suggest guides that can be added to the Locator, and rate guides they have used in the past.

In addition, the website offers a free Bait Shop Locator, Fishing Tournaments Calendar and Fishing Show Calendar. The Locator can be found at BoatUSAngler.com/services.
