Photographer catches a season of waterfowl fly, fly, flying away

With the exception of some late goose hunts and various youth hunts, waterfowl season is all but complete in the U.S.


We know for many there were few ducks at the end of the season, and for many the season was either too dry, too wet, too warm or too cold. Has anyone ever had a perfect duck season?

Photographer James Overstreet came awful close, judging by the appearance of the following shots.
