Many outdoor-gear consumers may not know much about GSM Outdoors, but the company is a big deal in the hunting and fishing industry. Some of the most recognizable outdoors brands are owned by the company, including top fishing brands like Bill Lewis, Yamamoto and Northland Tackle. With the annual ICAST 2025 fishing trade show around the corner, here are some of the new fishing lures from GSM for 2025. (Note: Some new items may not be available untile later this year)
Bill Lewis Lures Bill Lewis DR 24 Crankbait Bill Lewis DR 24 Crankbait The new Bill Lewis DR 24 is a deep-diving crankbait that can reach depths up to 24 feet. The lure, available in six colors, features an internal transfer weight for increased casting distance. Crispin Powley, Senior VP of Fishing at GSM: "The key design concept of the DR 24 is the 'shoulder ledge' that acts as an extension of the lip, increasing pressure on the bait and allowing a smaller bait to achieve incredible depths. We call this Ledge Technology. We have been blown away by the effect it has on getting a crankbait incredibly deep."
Bill Lewis Baby Bubbler Bill Lewis Baby Bubbler topwater lure. The Bill Lewis Baby Bubbler is a 2-inch plopper-style topwater lure that can be fished just about anywhere, by just about anyone. Available in six colors; equipped with Mustad Triple Grip hooks. Wes Higgins, Brand Manager for GSM Fishing: “You can use it for tournament fishing. You can then turn around and pond hop with it. It even plays for the BFS folks. It’s a relevant bait in almost all scenarios, and most importantly, it gets bit.”
Yamamoto Baits Yamamoto 3.25-inch Slinko Yamamoto 3.25" Slinko The new 3.25-inch Slinko from Yamamoto Baits is a bite-sized version of the original 5.5-inch Slinko. Built from the same Mega Floater Formula as its bigger brother, the smaller Slinko is designed for scenarios in which a smaller bait is the ticket. The Slinko is available in 10 colors; eight baits per pack. Yamamoto pro angler Randy Howell: “It has so much movement for a smaller bait. I love it on a bigger Ned head, but it’s also great on a Carolina rig."

Yamamoto Fuzzy Nut Yamamoto Fuzzy Nut dice-style bait. The odd-looking Yamamoto Fuzzy Nut is a small (1.5 inches) dice-style bait that lives up to its Fuzzy name with threaded skirt material, providing a subtle secondary action that drives bass crazy. Yamamoto pro Cody Meyer: “Most dice-style baits are cube-shaped. The Fuzzy Nut is actually a bit longer, so it looks more natural and provides numerous rigging options. You can completely hide a nail weight in this thing to add more glide, and it has the same salt content that the legendary Senko was built on.”
Yamamoto Hinge Minnow The Yamamoto Hinge Minnow is one of many new fishing lures in 2025 for GSM Outdoors brands. Yamamoto’s new Hinge Minnow soft-plastic swimbait is a realistic minnow imitation that's versatile and has great action in the water. It’s available in four sizes (3.5, 5, 6 and 7 inches), and comes in 10 colors. Yamamoto pro Jake Lawrence: “This thing is super realistic, from the colors down to the rolling action. It has a great slow roll, in large part due to the extended flanges on the sides. We wanted to make it durable while still providing the action needed, and the result is an incredibly versatile minnow that you’ll be able to match the hatch with just about anywhere you go.”
Buckeye Lures Buckeye Lures Select Spinnerbait Buckeye Lures Select Spinnerbait The all-new Select Spinnerbait features precise wire diameters, optimized blade spacing and scale-patterned blades. Jack Dice, Product Development Manager for GSM Fishing: “Spinnerbaits have been catching big bass for generations, but it’s still been hard to find a spinnerbait that has all the right attributes in one package. The Select Spinnerbait from Buckeye Lures checks all the boxes." Available in ⅜-, ½-, and a ¾-ounce double-willow offerings, and a ⁵⁄₁₆-ounce finesse version armed with Colorado and turtle blades.

Big Bite Baits Big Bite McMoney Jig Big Bite McMoney Jig The new McMoney Jig is a hybrid jig that performs both shallow and deep. The McMoney can be used to flip and pitch, and can even be fished offshore, says designer Mike McClelland. “I wouldn’t call it a heavy cover jig. It’s an all-purpose jig. I’ve caught them from the bushes to offshore structure." Available in eight colors and two sizes (1/2 and 5/8 ounce).
Big Bite Swimmer Ball Head Big Bite Swimmer Ball Head Big Bite’s all-new Swimmer Ball Head will simply get the job done. It features a wire keeper and premium Gamakatsu hook for better hookups, and is available in a variety of sizes including: ⅛, ³⁄₁₆, ¼, and ⅜ ounce with 2/0 and 3/0 hooks. Jack Dice, Product Development Manager for GSM Fishing: “Whether it be for jigs, minnows, or Forward Facing Sonar, the Big Bite Swimmer Ball Head performs in every scenario.”
Big Bite Scentsation 6.5-inch Cliffhanger Worm The new 6.5-inch Cliffhanger is a must-have drop shot worm for those who believe bigger is better. Big Bite Baits pro Clifford Pirch: “We wanted to offer a bigger version of the original 5-inch Cliffhanger while still maintaining all its special fish-catching features. It’s got the softness and buoyancy of a western hand-poured worm, and the strong draw of the Scentsation soft plastic from Big Bite makes it an easy winner.”
Northland Tackle Northland Tackle Tungsten Crappie Queen Northland Tungsten Crappie Queen The new Tungsten Crappie Queen , made from tungsten (70 percent more dense than traditional lead), the small-profile jig gets to the fish quickly. Northland pro Brian “Bro” Brosdahl: “The Tungsten Crappie Queen is a slab-catching jig, plain and simple. The tungsten properties allow you to fish in any depth, and your jigging cadence runs true. The metallic tinsel angel hair allows you to ‘match the hatch’. It puts more crappie in the boat than any jig I’ve ever used.”
Northland Tackle Tungsten Round Ball Wide-Gap Jig Northland Tungsten Round Ball Wide-Gap Jig Northland Tackle’s Tungsten Round Ball Wide-Gap Jig is smaller, more sensitive, and produces better sonar return than a traditional lead jighead, and its round shape and bait collar positioning helps it roll and twist more than other jigs when action is imparted. “It’s also got the sharpest hook (Gamakatsu) I’ve ever seen," Northland pro and 2023 Bassmaster Classic winner Jeff Gustafson added. Available in four weights (⅛, ³⁄₁₆, ¼, ⅜ oz), two hook sizes (2/0, 3/0), and four colors.
Northland Tackle Tungsten Smeltinator Northland Tungsten Smeltinator. The winning bait from the 2023 Bassmaster Classic just got better. The Tungsten Smeltinator from Northland Tackle is a smaller, improved version of the original Smeltinator that is more sensitive and has a better sonar return than traditional lead jigs.
