Designs, features and improved technology highlight the crossbow market each year, with a handful of new offerings from TenPoint Crossbows providing a perfect example for hunters to consider.
TenPoint’s flagship bow this year is the TRX Ultra, which touts its “sniper-like accuracy” and a host of other features. It’s only 6 inches wide at full draw. For hunters in treestands, saddles or ground blinds, that narrow footprint helps with maneuvering. The new Phantom De-Cock reverse-limb has been redesigned and updated, too.
Many TenPoint features can be found throughout the entire lineup. Here are this year’s best new crossbows from TenPoint.
TRX Ultra Photo courtesy of TenPoint Crossbow Technologies The flagship TRX Ultra is loaded with features hunters will appreciate. The bow is 29.5 inches and just 6 inches wide at draw but hits a blazing 515 feet per second. That comes in part from its Twin-Riser Technology, stronger and stiffer 8mm axles and stronger X-Wide limbs. These work in concert to reduce torsion movement along the bow’s axis while offering more stability and consistent accuracy. Also playing a role is the reverse draw platform, which reduces width while increasing speed and mobility. Other features include a custom TriggerTech trigger, AR-style ambidextrous thumb safety, and ACUslide MAXX cocking and de-cocking system. ACU-X RD carbon shaft arrows have a Snap-On Nock for better security. The bow has an upgraded custom string and brushless machined aluminum arrow rest that secures to the barrel and riser rod to reduce vibration and enhance consistency.

The TRX Ultra lineup includes the Ultra 26.5, Ultra 29.5, Ultra Vision with TenPoint Vision scope and Ultra Oracle X with the Oracle X optic.
Turbo X Vision Photo courtesy of TenPoint Crossbow Technologies The TenPoint Turbo X was a top introduction in 2025, and this year the package has been upgraded with the Vision HD 3-12X Digital Rangefinding Crossbow Scope. The scope comes with five pre-loaded TenPoint arrow ballistic profiles and is easy to dial in with the One-Shot Zeroing technology. You’ll find not only the ballistic feature, but also rangefinding and a recording option. The Turbo X Vision weighs 6.8 pounds, is 9.5 inches wide and 33.25 inches in length. It hits speeds of 415 fps with consistent accuracy out to 100 yards. The ACUslide cocking and de-cocking system is included, as is the S2 two-stage trigger with zero creep and roller sear system with 3.5-pound pull.
Phantom De-Cock Photo courtesy of TenPoint Crossbow Technologies Fans of reverse-draw crossbows might do a double-take at the Phantom De-Cock, which has a new stock design and barrel configuration. It weighs 7.4 pounds and is a trim 8.4 inches wide and 28.5 inches in length, both being remarkable for a reverse-limb bow. The Phantom De-Cock has the ACUdraw de-cocking system, hits 400 fps and is evenly balanced. The redesign of the barrel and stock, along with the closed pistol grip, distributes the weight more evenly so it’s easier to maneuver even with one hand. The two-stage trigger comes with a Dry-Fire Prohibitor system and 3.5-pound pull. The Pro-View 400 lighted scope (red or green) offers aimpoints out to 70 yards.

Titan X De-Cock Photo courtesy of TenPoint Crossbow Technologies TenPoint’s top-selling crossbow has been upgraded with more features while still retaining an affordable price. Hunters will find the safe ACUdraw De-Cocking system on a redesigned stock, which, along with the barrel, is skeletonized to reduce weight. But Titan X remains a solid platform with a metal barrel that reduces vibration and flex, and hits speeds of 400 fps. The decocking system comes with TenPoint’s Auto-Brake Gear System, which stops the cocking handle in place during the draw or letdown. The Pro-View 400 lighted scope with illuminated reticle (red or green) provides aimpoints out to 70 yards.
Wicked Ridge Commander Photo courtesy of TenPoint Crossbow Technologies For hunters seeking more comfort in the wallet, the Wicked Ridge Commander and Warrior (see below) are great options. With the Commander, you get the ACUdraw Cocking Device, a lighted scope and speeds up to 400 fps. Zippy arrows fly thanks to the MCX Cam system that elongates the power stroke. The bow is 11 inches wide, easily maneuverable in a stand or blind. The ACUdraw system reduces draw weight to an easy 5 pounds and is built into the stock. It has double-laminated “Gordon Glass” limbs and a Pro-View 400 lighted scope that dials out to 70 yards and is pre-sighted to 20.
Wicked Ridge Warrior 400 Photo courtesy of TenPoint Crossbow Technologies You might think that a crossbow with a price tag of less than $500 might be a “less than” in performance. That would be incorrect. The Warrior 400 is, yes, a solidly affordable bow that some would say is bare bones, plain or no-frills. Those people would be correct. That’s not to say the Warrior 400 is without top TenPoint features, including the stabilizing MDX Cam system that helps arrows hit 400 fps. Or the Gordon Glass dual laminated limbs that greatly reduce torsional twist and shock. Or the Pro-View 400 illuminated scope with a 70-yard range. The tactical stock is adjustable in five 1/2-inch increments. Hanging stirrup and rope cocker are included.
