Mystery Tackle Box

In this tough economy anglers are affected just like everyone else when it comes to spending their money wisely. It has been said that you can't buy happiness, but you can buy fishing gear and that is almost the same thing. Anglers can spend a fortune on gas driving around from bait shop to tackle store selecting and buying lures that could be designed to catch only anglers. Then again, they can save gas and shop online. Often a bigger selection of lures that may or may not catch fish can be found. And what about shipping cost? There is a new subscription service provided by anglers, for anglers called Mystery Tackle Box that has solved some of these issues. Mystery Tackle Box is a monthly subscription service that introduces both beginner and expert anglers to new fishing lures and tackle. In addition to receiving fishing lures, you will also receive a "bait card" that will explain a little more about each product you receive.

Each month, anglers will receive a variety of quality fishing products (not samples). Mystery Tackle Box proudly states, "We never send knock-off products that were made in China". Mystery Tackle Box employs product specialists who are experienced tournament anglers that review each bait that they put in the box to make sure it is good quality. They pledge that every box will have at least $15 worth of products and you can expect to get an average of 3-4 products a month.

Construction

The assortment of lures was aimed at professionally gearing their customer up to catch bass. Quality products by reputable companies, all of which could be referenced online, with complete transparency of the manufactures suggested retail cost. Being somewhat skeptical, I was surprised to discover the monthly selection was a value for only $15.00 and with no shipping cost added. And WFN fans can get their first box for just $4.99 by entering the code WFN499.

Appearance

The Mystery Tackle Box was well packaged to protect the lures inside. The contents were in better condition than often found on a store shelf. Included in the first box was the XCB-S Crankbait by Reaction Strike, a medium diving crankbait in a realistic design that bass will not be able to resist.

Also included was an assortment of Moaner hooks designed specifically for the package of Ragetail Space Monkey baits included. The baits were selected in a color that can be fished any time at any depth. These versatile soft plastic creatures can be fished with many presentations, and the hooks provided will help anglers to do so. The box also included a Reaction Strike Condition Buzz, a quality buzzbait just in time for summer topwater fishing.

Usage

Inside this first shipment that I received from Mystery Tackle Box, I discovered a variety of lures and tackle that an angler could actually take to the lake and begin to catch fish. It was well thought out and planned for the season the box was shipped. The variety of baits could be used right out of the box for various post spawn summer bass fishing techniques anywhere in North America. This alone confirms the box was prepared by anglers as if they had gathered the gear they needed for an August fishing trip.

Conclusion

Mystery Tackle Box is a value for only $15 per month and the subscription can be canceled any time. On average, most anglers spend at least $25-$50 per month on fishing gear. This service exposes anglers to new quality lures at a fraction of that price. Add the value of free shipping and no sales tax in many states, and the value cannot be beat. Mystery Tackle Box exposes anglers to new quality lures that they may not find in their local bait shop. Mystery Tackle Box goes beyond a local shop or online retailer by actually helping to teach anglers the best way to use the products. The subscription of "mystery" products is a fun and exciting way to keep up with the sport of fishing. Subscribers will be excited to get the box every month to see what's inside and learn about the latest trends in fishing. And anglers will save money. The first box included more than $20 worth of product, and with free shipping and no tax many people will save money as they receive gear and instructions that will make them better anglers.Product for review provided by Mystery Tackle Box.
