The Edge 2 Pro builds off the original Edge and Edge 2 trail cams and delivers many of the industry-leading benefits the Edge Series is known for, including Auto Connect Technology (all four major carriers) and built-in memory. The Edge 2 Pro also boasts the On-Demand feature, enabling users to trigger a photo or video within the Moultrie Mobile App.
Additionally, the Edge 2 Pro delivers full HD images and video with 40MP photos and 1440p video featuring audio and an expanded 100-foot range for detection with a flash range of 100 feet. The no-glow flash ensures nighttime images are crisp and clear without alerting game or intruders. Moultrie’s Mobile AI reduces false triggers, extends battery life and allows users to customize what is captured. The Live Aim feature allows users to ensure proper camera placement via the app, forgoing the need to trigger a test shot.
The Edge 2 Pro shines with its versatility. The trail cam fits Moultrie’s Easy Aim Mount, Flex Mount, Camera Stake and other mounts with ¼-20 threaded male post. Moultrie gives plenty of options to power the unit. Eight AA batteries will run the unit, but it can hold 16 AA batteries to extend use between battery swaps. The Edge 2 Pro is compatible with Power Mag, Power Mag+, 10W Solar Power Pack, 3.4W Solar Power Pack and Battery Box as well(sold separately).
