McAdams Wins BFL Event On Lake Guntersville
Boater Todd McAdams of Fayetteville, Tennessee, caught a five-bass limit weighing 25 pounds, 1 ounce Feb. 12 to win $5,921 in the BFL Choo Choo Division tournament on Lake Guntersville. He fished channel buoys near the North Sauty in 6 to nine 9 of water with Rat-L-Traps to take home the crown.

The next BFL Choo Choo Division tournament is scheduled for March 19 on Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala. After the fifth Choo Choo Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Nov. 3-5 Regional Championship on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, S.C. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
