Sportsman from around the southeast US are planning their trips for the annual Florida Spiny Lobster Mini-Season. In two short weeks they will converge on the Florida Keys and southeast Florida. Many hotels, motels, and campgrounds are booked solid for the two day event.The Spiny Lobster mini-season is always the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July. The mini season this year is on July 25th and 26th.If you are planning to try your luck this season, now is the time to begin your preparation before you hit the water. Check all your dive gear, BC?s, tanks, regulators, gages, Masks, snorkels, fins, weights, belts, release buckles, wet suits, gloves, dive flags and floats.  Any scuba gear found needing repair should be made by qualified people.If you haven?t been diving recently there is time to re-familiarize yourself with your gear or take a refresher course. Diving can be deadly and safety is paramount.Take time to make sure your fishing license if valid with the proper crawfish stamp and get up to date on the current regulations.Be prepared, be safe and enjoy the upcoming season.Tight lines, bent poles, screaming drags and full catch bags!!!!Stay Salty My Friends!!!!!
