Trail cameras have opened new opportunities for hunters and landowners to keep an eye in the field for movement of game and intruders. From tracking individual deer to catching a poacher, there is no shortage of choices available. Several companies have been pumping out new gear in the last months. Here is a quick look at some of the newest offerings to stay connected to your properties.

Moultrie Edge 3 and Edge 3 Pro Trail Cams

Makers of trail cams, feeders and game management tools, Moultrie continues to impress with each new product. Building upon the success of the popular Edge 2 and Edge 2 Pro trail cams, Moultrie’s new Edge 3 and Edge 3 Pro deliver the goods at an economical price.

At the heart of the Edge 3 series is Moultrie A.I., which filters content and delivers the images and videos whenever you want. The technology can discern the difference between does and bucks. So, if you are only interested in hunting bucks this fall, you can set the camera to only capture bucks, extending the battery life of the unit.

Moultrie Edge 3 and Edge 3 Pro cameras are GPS-enabled and will show the location of each in the Moultrie Connect app. The trail cams also connect with compatible Moultrie feeders, allowing users to remotely control feeders using the Connect app. The trail cam also integrates with the onX Hunt app and comes with a free, three-month onX Hunt Elite subscription.
