Innovative New Landing Net Debuts at ICAST
Leverage Landing Net, LLC is pleased to announce its revolutionary new landing nets, The Leverage Landing Net' model BC1900 and the larger WB2250.
What makes The Leverage Landing Net' unique is its innovative handle design, utilizing a simple arm brace and "pistol" grip that enables the fisherman to deploy and operate the net one-handed while maintaining control of the fishing rod in the other hand. The brace and grip combination enables your arm to act as an extension to the net's handle, and increases strength and control when your netting fish.
The Leverage Landing Net' is designed and engineered to be fully collapsible for easy storage in its optional heavy-duty canvas bag. The Leverage Landing Net' utilizes a patented lock-hinge, which when triggered, extends the handle from its storage position to full length while simultaneously unfolding the radius of the net to its full dimensions, and then locking the entire assembly solidly in place.
The netting itself is a rubber-dipped knotless nylon, which is gentler on the protective coating of fish and also results in fewer hook snags. This makes the net perfect for catch and release.
The Leverage Landing Nets were put into the hands of high profile walleye and bass anglers across the country. They videotaped and tested the nets under all types of conditions trying to identify flaws and looking for ways to improve the current design. After years of tweaks and revisions the team at Leverage Landing Net, LLC have developed what many feel is the "ultimate landing net."
The BC1900 was the first net produced and worked well for bass and crappie, but some felt it was a bit small for the needs of the walleye angler, so a larger version soon followed. The WB2250 was developed, and not only met the requirements of the walleye angler, but was demonstrated to be capable of landing anything from pike and steelhead in the Northern regions to redfish and snook in the South.
This American-made net is a must have for fishermen of any species and will soon be available in local tackle shops and retail outlets across the country. Check them out at www.leveragelandingnet.com.
