HT Expands, New H2O Redfish Tour
The H2O tour, title sponsored by the best energy drink available today, Shock H2O Energy Water and HT3 Outdoors is going to bring the best in tournament production to local anglers in coastal areas.
Only first 40 teams guaranteed a spot.The Tour will consist of 4 tournaments in a singular division with manageable entry fees and little or as much travel as a team wishes, depending on the goals of the particular teams fishing it.
Tour stops for the 2013 season will take place in prestine areas like Gulf Shores, AL where the tour kicks off in April of 2013. Next the anglers will take part in a large festival as The Tour returns to Lake Charles, LA as part of the 2013 Contraband Days Festival. Event 3 has the tour on beautiful Mustang Island in Port Aransas and concludes in a new tour stop for The Tour at Moran's Marina in Fouchon, LA.
Teams can fish 1 or all 4 events and pay as they go. Each event will guarantee a first place cash prize of $10,000.00 but should the field hit the 40 team mark, a whopping $20,000.00 awaits the top team. However, while the individual event paybacks are truly Head Turning that's not all these teams are fishing for.
At the conclusion of 4 events, the top 3 teams with the highest points get's fast tracked to the 2013 Invitational Series Classic championship in Slidell, LA, October 3-6, 2013. This lucrative $50,000.00 for first, no entry fee championship will take place in St. Tammany Parish. As another bonus the top team after 4 events will also win entry into the 2014 Invitational Series Tour with ALL ENTRY FEES PAID! The top 15 teams after 4 events will qualify to join the Invitational Series in 2014.
The H2O Tour will give anglers a chance to win good money and offer the opportunity for them to step up to join anglers currently fishing the HT Invitational Series. Note: In 2013 the HT Invitational Series will see it's first place prize catapult to $40,000.00 an event while adding a 5th "shootout" tournament with a $50,000.00 first place prize has been added with no additional entry fees to the teams competing.
