Highlights from the Southern Slam

After a fog delay Alabama’s Lake Logan Martin was host to the latest tournament of The Southern Slam High School Bass Trail featuring high school bass teams from across the Southeast. The Southern Slam High School Bass Trail is the chance for high school teams to compete against other teams from across the Southeast.

Bass Pro Shops in Leeds, Alabama was the weigh in site as the high school fishing team’s latest event where the best high school fishing teams from the southeast brought bass to the scales to claim their rewards and bragging rights for the best team, best boat, and biggest fish of the event. The day was filled with fun and excitement as the boys and girls fished Logan Martin.

The teams are now getting ready for Pickwick at the next stop on the Southern Slam High School Bass Trail on November 22-23 and it is not too late for other schools to register to take part in the next event.
