Hamaker Moves Closer To National Championship

Jason Hamaker is one step closer to the 2012 ABA National Championship with a first place win and $502 in the American Fishing Tour bass tournament held on Lay Lake, Alabama this past weekend. Jason?s five-bass limit weighed in at 19.43 pounds.Second place went to Eric Vining with a total weight of 18.59 pounds, while Mike Szokoly took third with 17.32 pounds. Brian Harbison brought in the lunker largemouth of the tournament with a 6.54-pounder. Most of the Big Fish caught were reported to come flipping grass mats or on swimming jigs.The top five anglers were:
  1. Jason Hamaker 19.43 Lbs.
  2. Eric Vining 18.59 Lbs.
  3. Mike Szokoly 17.32 Lbs.
  4. Brina Hughes 16.99 Lbs.
  5. Zeke Ezekiel 15.38 Lbs.
Next Divisional Tournament: Division 75?s next tournament will be May 5th on Logan Martin Lake at Lakeside Landing.
