Haddock is known for its mild and slightly sweet taste with a medium texture of lean white meat

Yield: 3 - 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes


  • 1 pound haddock fillets
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes


Heat ¼ inch of oil until very hot. Cut haddock in serving pieces. Dip in flour, then in egg and water mixture. Roll in cornflakes. Put fish in hot oil. Fry 5 minutes, turning once. Drain on paper towel.
