Fried Catfish (Recipe)

Ingredients:

• 1 lb catfish fillets, cut in strips
• 1 cup cornmeal
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 1 tsp homemade Old Bay seasoning, or to taste
• 1 quart of canola oil for frying

Marinade Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup homemade buttermilk
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 TBS homemade onion powder
• 2 tsp homemade garlic powder
• kosher salt to taste
• freshly ground black pepper, to taste
