Steve Woodruff

Steve Woodruff was hunting at the Daviston Hunting Club, in Tallapoosa County, when he bagged this 19-pound gobbler on April 10, 2001.

Jeff Ward

Jeff Ward of Hartselle was hunting in Morgan County on Jan. 25, 2002, when he downed this 12-pointer, which tipped the scales at 175 pounds.

 

Chad Arnette

A dog-hunt in Escambia County produced this 9-point buck for Chad Arnette. He took the deer, which had a 23-inch spread, at the Po-Boy Hunting Club in December of 2001.

 

Josh Lumsden

A day at the Lock 4 Hunting Club in Talladega County produced this 8-point buck for 14-year-old Josh Lumsden of Oxford. Josh made the kill on Dec. 31, 2000.

 

Floyd W. Cox Sr.

Westover angler Floyd W. Cox Sr. was fishing at Lay Lake when he boated these three big spotted bass.

Kim Thompson

Kim Thompson of Jackson was hunting on Jan. 27, 2001 when she killed this 8-point buck in Clarke County. The deer was her first antlered buck.

 

Trey Williams

Trey Williams of Auburn was only 8 years old when he downed this 9-point buck on a hunt in Macon County. The buck was taken during the 2000-2001 season.

 

Billy Donchue

Birmingham hunter Billy Donchue was overlooking a green field at PAKO Plantation in Barbour County on Jan. 12, 2001, when he shot his 10-point buck. The deer was Donchue's first.

 

Cody Whisenant

Cody Whisenant of Caddo was fishing a neighbor's pond in Lawrence County when he hooked this largemouth bass, which weighed 10 1/2 pounds.

 

Shane Peebles

Philip Dickson

Trussville hunter Philip Dickson bagged his first deer while hunting near Auburn on the Chambers/Tallapoosa County line. The buck had a 6-point rack.

James Thomas

James Thomas of Flatwoods was hunting in Tuscaloosa County on Jan. 13, 2001, when he shot this 10-point buck, which scored 154 1/8 B&C points. That's his son, J.T., helping with the deer.

 

Justin Fargason

Justin Fargason of Hoover downed an 8-point Wilcox County buck. His deer weighed 136 pounds and was taken on Dec. 23, 1999.

Faith Emily Grizzard

Faith Emily Grizzard of Dora started her fishing career by catching this 1 1/2-pound bass from Lake Dora. She made the catch in June of 2000.

 

Joey Henderson

This 7-point, 185-pound buck was killed by Joey Henderson of Foley. He shot the deer near Lathem on Jan. 21, 1999 after only 30 minutes in the woods.

 

Gary Sinak

Gary Sinak (l.) of Gulf Shores and Donnie Smith downed their 8- and 7-point bucks at the Twin Creeks Hunting Club in Monroe County during the rut in January of 2000.

 

Justin Frederick

Justin Frederick's grandpa called this 18 1/2-pound gobbler in for the young Concord hunter in Dallas County. The turkey had 10- and 6-inch beards, plus 1-inch spurs.

 

Kenneth Watts

Kenneth Watts of Leeds bagged his first antlered buck on Nov. 22, 2000. He shot the 10-pointer at the One Shot Hunting Club in St. Clair County.
