The onset of spring has outdoorsmen and women stirring and ready to dig out their tackle and go fishing. This week on The Revolution we’ll help quench their thirst for angling action with tips and advice from the pros on how to hook up with any species. Joining us will be Carter Andrews, host of The Obsession of Carter Andrews on Outdoor Channel as well as Captain George Gozdz of Reel Time Florida Sportsman on Sportsman Channel. Finally, stopping by will be Blaine “Crash” Garrett and Jonny “Ricky” Wallerich, hosts of The MudbuMs on Sportsman Channel. The Revolution is presented by Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, World Fishing Network and MyOutdoorTV.

As outdoorsmen and women, we are adventurers at heart, however angler Carter Andrews takes “adventurer” to the next level. Tune in as Carter Andrews, host of The Obsession of Carter Andrews on Outdoor Channel, joins The Revolution this week to talk about his three-part mini-series that takes viewers with him into the Amazon Jungle. Carter will talk about fishing for one of the largest freshwater fish in the world, the arapaima. At more than 10 feet long and the potential to reach up to 500 pounds, in addition to their air breathing ability – it makes the arapaima a very unique species. Carter talks to Jim and Trav about the conservation of this species as well as enjoying a meal of arapaima stomach lining with the native people. He’ll also talk peacock bass fishing, more specifically Temensis Peacock Bass, the largest member of the peacock bass species. He tells Jim and Trav that the Amazon is something that everyone should experience, at least once. He highlights the culture and way of life and paints an incredible picture of the nature that surrounds you. Don’t miss the three-part mini-series on Outdoor Channel for an amazing look at the Amazon and tune in to The Revolution for a first-hand account of his experiences.

Reel Time Florida Sportsman, entering its 6th season on Sportsman Channel, showcases the best in Florida fishing opportunities. Hosted by Captain George Gozdz, Reel Time Florida Sportsman is unique in its approach. The show scours the Florida Sportsman Fishing forum, plus social media outlets, and looks for the best fishing reports, unique destinations and fisheries, as well as different techniques anglers are using to target fish. With that information, they set out to learn from the locals as they tap in on the hottest action. Tune in this week as Caption George Gozdz joins The Revolution to talk about the diverse fishing available in the Sunshine State. Snook, trout, redfish, tarpon, sailfish, dolphin, cobia, permit, kingfish and more, the Captain discusses both inshore and offshore fishing opportunities. He’ll also talk about the upcoming season of Reel Time Florida Sportsman and some of the stories and action they’ll be covering.

Not your typical fishing show, The MudbuMs on Sportsman Channel follows a close-knit group of friends that are always down for a good time. These catfishing aficionados document their excursions across the country as they reel in flatheads, monster blue cats and even go on the occasional hunt. Blaine “Crash” Garrett and Jonny “Ricky” Wallerich”, co-hosts of The MudbuMs, join The Revolution this week to talk about Season 1 of the show and to tease the season finale coming this weekend, where they promise viewers are in for a big surprise. Get acquainted with The MudbuMs as they talk fishing, camaraderie and old-fashioned fun.
