Country music star Jason Aldean's concert at Sun Trust Field in Atlanta Saturday night was sold-out, but two lucky fans at a popular hunting-and-fishing store found a way to get in.
As part of a promotion, Aldean surprised Heather Wallace and Rachel Hook with the tickets Friday at the Field & Stream Shop in Kennesaw, Ga.
Aldean, a brand ambassador for Field & Stream, announced the giveaway Friday afternoon on Twitter, telling fans tickets were hidden inside the store. Fans quickly made it to the store to search among the thousands of items in shelves and on display.
As the lucky searchers, Wallace and Hook also were invited to a private acoustic performance before the show, which also featured Hootie & the Blowfish.
If meeting a country superstar and winning tickets to the show wasn't enough, Aldean also gave the winners a $500 gift card to Field & Steam.
Aldean, an avid outdoorsman from Macon, Ga., is well-known to Outdoor Channel viewers as one of the "Buckmen" in the TV show, Buck Commander: Protected by Under Armour. Aldean co-owns the company with former MLB players Adam LaRoche, Tombo Martin and Ryan Langerhans, country-music star Luke Bryan, and Duck Commander's Willie Robertson.
The Buck Commander TV show airs: Monday, 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, 11:30 a.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.; Sunday, 4:30 a.m.
