If you are an angler and looking for a quality all-in-one fishing tool, then this review is for you.
Muck Splizzors are made of 420HC corrosion resistant stainless steel with a hardness rating of Rc 58. They’re durable and will not rust when using for freshwater fishing. These all-in-one Splizzors have it all.
A bottle opener Lanyard or leash hole Large crimp Small crimp Plier tips Scissor edges strong enough to cut any line, including heavy braid The handle is made of Dynaflex rubber, which means you will get a soft, flexible feel excellent for gripping and will hold up to any weather. They only come in Red and can be easily seen lying around your boat or kayak. At just over 8 ounces, the Splizzors are lightweight and utilize what Buck calls an edge-to-edge pressure ten times that of normal scissors. The Splizzors come with a heavy duty nylon sheath that is accompanied by an extra set of blades.
In closing, the Splizzors have found a home in my tackle box, on my boat and my kayak. They are handy and allow me to have one tool, not six to deal with. Cutting fishing line is easy with them and haven’t found any line they won’t cut. The pliers come in very helpful when pulling hooks from fish. If you are looking for a quality angler tool and don’t mind dropping a $100, then this is the tool for you.
