Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees. Whisk your buttermilk and egg together in a bowl big enough to dip the catfish in. Pat dry your catfish of any residual water that might still be on them. Brush the catfish inside and out with the olive oil Dip the catfish in the buttermilk and egg concoction. (Don’t let it soak!! Just dip it) Generously coat the catfish with the hush puppy mix. The air fryer should be preheated at this point. Add the coated catfish, making sure that you do not overcrowd the basket. Cook for about 14 minutes, making sure to flip the catfish at the halfway point. Go pour yourself something to drink and enjoy! Don’t be afraid to experiment in the kitchen or out on the grill. You don’t have to be a chef in order to cook up some good quality time with your family and friends. At the end of the day, if you mess up your dish, you can always have a good laugh and order a pizza.
