Beginning with the release of its Rustrictor™ technology earlier this year, Plano will continue its commitment to your tackle storage with the unveiling of a new product line at next week’s ICAST 2019 fishing tackle show in Orlando .
Plano says its EDGE tackle-storage system is its most technologically advanced storage series to date. EDGE implements a three-pronged defense against moisture and corrosion while protecting tackle and keeping it organized.
Dri-Loc ™ rubber gaskets create watertight seal between the lid and base that moisture that cannot penetrate. Water Wick ™ — a water-absorbing, rechargeable, desiccant divider — quickly absorbs any water that gets inside and keeps it away from your lures. The exclusive Rustrictor ™ material is infused into every new EDGE box, preventing terminal tackle and expensive baits from corroding. To help increase airflow EDGE boxes include unique pre-separated, vented dividers. The EDGE system fights moisture and corrosion while protecting tackle and keeping it organized. Steel pin hinges finish off the rugged lid.
Comprising of 10 new product SKUs, EDGE is built on the familiar Plano 3600 and 3700 Stowaway footprints.

Terminal box with a boxes-within-a-box design is a great way to store weights, hooks, and small parts. Small enough to put in your pocket, the revolutionary lift-out boxes are ideal to sort small items and keep them handy.
Jig/Blade Bait box employs multiple vertical dividers to keep up to 70 jigs or bladed baits neat and organized. The vertical dividers lock jigs into place, keeping them from tangling or crushing hair or skirts.
Crankbait boxes organize and protect your favorite lures.(Photo courtesy of Plano) Spinnerbait box , which holds several lures, has a rugged one-piece construction base with a center rail for hanging baits so they dry naturally while not kinking their skirts. The box is deep enough to accommodate larger buzzbaits and trailer hooks. Four adjustable dividers allow anglers to organize by color, style or weight.
Plastics/Bulk Utility box is large, watertight and allows for more bags of soft plastics than one could ever need. Two movable dividers keep soft plastics and molded swim baits organized. The dividers can removed so the box can double as a dry-box.
Crankbait boxes , which comes in two sizes, use patent pending silicone "fingers" to protect the lures, hooks, and finishes, which eliminates tangled hooks and wasted time, and protects the lifelike finishes on today's premium hardbaits as they securely nestle among the fingers.
The EDGE line will be available to the public around the first of the new year.
