8 New Mechanical Broadheads for 2019
January 10, 2019
Expanding on their Aero Series this season, Innerloc introduces the new 100-grain Carnage broad-head. Secured in Innerloc’s exclusive aerodynamic wrap, upon impact the three .04-inch rear-deploying, razor-sharp blades slice through the wrap without fail and lock into place to deliver a cutting diameter of 1.5 inches. The wraps are replaceable and available in multiple designs.
NAP Dark Knight Titanium 150
NAP’s new Dark Knight Titanium 150 broadhead combines the cutting power of a fixed blade with the stability of a mechanical. At its foundation is the one-piece titanium ferrule with a deep penetrating titanium tip. Upon impact, this 150-grain four-blade goes to work with its two-stage deploying blade system. Once deployed, the main stainless steel blades lock together to ensure a maximum 2-inch cutting diameter, but unique to these blades are their ability to pivot around bone and then re-center to provide better penetration. Combine this with the bleeder blade that adds an additional 1 1/8-inch cutting diameter and you can visualize the devastation the Dark Knight Titanium 150 delivers.
Rage Hypodermic NC
Once again, Rage proves that innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower with the new Hypodermic NC. Featuring a lethal Hypodermic hybrid-style tip and needle-like ferrule, the Hypodermic NC’s streamlined design ensures field-tip accuracy, and upon impact, the two .035-inch-thick blades slide into a swept-back position to deliver a gaping 2-inch slap-cut wound chan-nel. The genius behind the Hypodermic NC is the revolutionary finger-like tabs on the blades’ Slip Cam that “pin” them in place while in the closed position, completely eliminating the need for a Shock Collar or O-ring. Upon impact, the blades seamlessly deploy to deliver the blood-letting devastation bowhunters have come to expect from Rage.
