You can tell the story of your monster muskie or giant buck, but every sportsman knows that when it comes down to it, the proof is in the photos. We want to recognize all your hard work out on the water and in the field, so we're bringing you the best fishing and hunting pictures from Camera Corner in 2013. Here you'll find Don Reidel's striper of a lifetime, John Ravan with an 11-foot gator, and even 15-year-old Samantha Mandell with her monster moose.

Jeff Fridley
About the second Saturday in May, I ended up bagging this stubborn gobbler instead of my brother, Jo. I tried calling him in for my brother and turned out closing the deal. He hung up three logging roads down from us out on some property in Haines Branch in Kanawha County, W.V. I took off 60 yards away from the gobbling bird and left my brother so the bird would think the hot hen was leaving him. Well, it worked and he came up to my brother only to catch him moving his gun in position. The bird took off back the way he came. In the meantime, I was dropping down each logging road calling to judge which one he was on. I set up on the one I believed he was on and got a phone call from my brother. Right after I got off I yelped a few times and the gobbler sounded off 25 yards out the logging road I was one. He came right in 15 yards and that was all she wrote.

On Oct. 31, 2013, at 8:20 a.m., I caught this 32-inch, 18-pound striped bass while trolling in Lake Moultrie. I used an Abu Garcia reel and a Penn rod, rigged up with a Mann's Stretch 25-foot — I'm not telling what color — and 17-pound test Berkely Trilene. The barometer was steady, the skies clear, and the water surface temp was 67 degrees. This is by far the biggest striper I have caught.
