16th Annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards on The Revolution with Jim & Trav

16th Annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards on The Revolution with Jim & Trav
The Revolution with Jim & Trav

Featured Guests: Tom McMillan, Jeremy Mallette

This week on The Revolution with Jim and Trav presented by Outdoor Channel, the boys have recently returned from ATA and SHOT and come baring news of all-new hunting and shooting gear and accessories. So here's the rundown: famed outfitter and host of the Sportsman Channel series, MCMILLAN, Tom McMillan will discuss his recent gig as co-host of 16th Annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards. Also joining the broadcast will be none other than Silencer Shop's Social Media Manager, Jeremy Mallette, and he'll shell out the latest on suppressors for 2016 and why this year is being coined as the year of modularity. Two Time World Champion Coyote Caller Geoff Nemnich will detail the consequences of mismanaged time when on a coyote stand, and finally, our very own Mrs. Bunny has a round up the latest and greatest hunting gear that ATA and SHOT had to offer.

Tom McMillan of Sportsman Channel's MCMILLAN is fresh off the Las Vegas strip where he co-hosted, alongside Michael Waddell, the 16th Annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards. Tom speaks candidly about the Outdoor Sportsman Award recipients, notable guests such as presidential candidate Donald Trump, rock legend John Fogerty of Creedence Clear Water Revival and the adrenaline, anxiety and humility he felt throughout the entire process.

Mr. McMillan poignantly recalls his early years as an outfitter, as well, and the deep emotional ties that bond him and his clients. Tom's says that, "The true payoff is when you put your life's work into helping others achieve their own dreams. It's a sense of accomplishment, of teamwork and pride. And that's what keeps you going. It's not the money." You won't want to miss this in-depth doubleheader with Tom McMillan from the Sportsman Channel series, MCMILLAN.

Jeremy Mallette is the Social Media Manager for Silencer Shop based out of Austin, Texas and he'll explain why 2016 is the year of modularity for suppressors. Mr. Mallette concentrates his focus on the Rugged Obsidian which is full-auto rated for pistol calibers up-to .45 ACP and can be used with 300 Blackout subsonic rifle ammunition.

He'll also explore two new suppressors from Thunder Beast and most notably their new high-performance .338 caliber suppressor that is incredibly lightweight and super effective at suppressing extreme muzzle blast. However, Jeremy points out that Thunder Beast's new 22 TAKE DOWN suppressor is one you'll most certainly want to buy. Measuring only 5.6 inches in length and weighing a mere 5.9 ounces, this 22 TAKE DOWN from Thunder Beast might be tiny in stature, but it packs a punch in suppression - nearly cutting a .22 LR down to approximately 114-116 dB. Jeremy also illustrates the benefits a buyer will receive when purchasing a new suppressor through Silencer Shop and how they expedite the entire process and make it 100% hassle free. Visit www.silencershop.com today and explore over 170 different suppressors they offer from 15 different manufacturers.

New Gear - The ATA and SHOT shows were the launching place of a ton of new hunting and shooting gear for 2016. Jim, Trav and Mrs. Bunny take a look at some of these new products that should be on your watch list. Tune in to find out more about the Pioneer Airbow, Boom Dock, Rinehart Deloma Decoys, and much more!
