The new Browning Grand Illusion MF has the same style of radically pre-stressed limbs used on the PSE X-Force series of bows. (PSE makes Browning bows.) The limb design ensures recoil-free shooting, despite the bow’s blazing speed. The design causes the cams to move in opposite directions during the shot, canceling their acceleration forces.
The MF stands for Mega Fast, the name of the Grand Illusion’s hybrid cam system. Along with a 7-inch brace height, the cam system powers the bow to an IBO speed rating of 322 to 330 fps, the fastest bow Browning has ever made. The bow is 35 inches long and has a suggested retail price of $799.
