Opening Night Concert with Easton Corbin, presented by World Fishing Network and ICAST
World Fishing Network helps kick off ICAST 2015 Tuesday, July 14 as a presenting sponsor for the opening night concert featuring country music star Easton Corbin. The first country male artist in 17 years to have his first two consecutive singles reach No. 1, Easton Corbin won the 2010 American Country Awards in every breakthrough artist category and he received nominations for Best New Artist and Single and Song of the Year at the 2010 Country Music Association Awards.

WorldFishingNetwork.com will have a full editorial crew on the ICAST show floor providing updates on new gear, interviews with fishing celebrities, professional anglers and industry insiders along with reviews and recaps of some of the hottest new products. Additional content will include product photo galleries and daily written recaps of breaking news and highlights.
Live coverage begins at 9:30 a.m. ET Wednesday, July 15 through Friday, July 17 at WorldFishingNetwork.com with afternoon programs starting at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16. Each session will be hosted by accomplished outdoor writer Lynn Burkhead, author of Outdoor Channel’s Outdoors 365. Burkhead will be joined by JP DeRose, preeminent gear expert and host of the World Fishing Network original series JP DeRose Breaking Boundaries, and Conway Bowman, host of World Fishing Network’s Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die (based on the best-selling book by Chris Santella), The Outfitters on Sportsman Channel and author of The Orvis Guide to Beginning Saltwater Fly Fishing.
‘World Fishing Journal ICAST Special’
World Fishing Network wraps up its 2015 ICAST coverage with a one-hour special television presentation, World Fishing Journal ICAST Special, which will air Sunday, August 30 at 11 a.m. ET with an encore presentation at 8 p.m. ET, providing in-depth introductions to some of the Best of Show award winners from the New Product Showcase, including rods, lures, boating accessories, eyewear and apparel.

Going beyond the products, the one-hour program will cover some of the other activities that take place at the show, including a look at the American Sportfishing Association’s KeepAmericaFishing program and Pitch It campaigns, and will go behind-the-scenes at the ICAST Cup industry bass fishing tournament, which pairs pro anglers with media representatives and other industry professionals.
