World Fishing Network Free Preview Returns for April
Customers of many providers can again enjoy the only TV channel dedicated exclusively to fishing and the outdoor lifestyle
DENVER and TORONTO – World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, will be available on a free preview to cable, satellite and telco subscribers in the U.S. and Canada throughout the entire month of April and into early May.
World Fishing Network’s free preview is open to all U.S. and Canadian affiliates. Participating distributors include:
- U.S.: AT&T U-verse, Blue Ridge, Bright House Networks, CenturyLink, Cox Communications, Frankfort Plant Board Cable, MetroNet, Service Electric and Verizon FiOS. DISH, which offers World Fishing Network nationally, will be offering their 14 million subscribers free previews of both World Fishing Network and sister network Sportsman Channel from April 2 – May 5.

Also aligning with the April free preview, World Fishing Network is pleased to partner with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) to release 3,000 catfish into Tropical Park, located in the Miami-Dade (Fla.) area on Tuesday, April 14. Following this release, the local waters will be well stocked for the ¡Vamos a Pescar! (Take Me Fishing) event, celebrating the fun and joy of fishing that will take place on April 18.
