WFN to Sponsor Berkley B1 Canadian Open
Tournament Results Provided Exclusively on WFN Web Site
Taking place on Lake Saint-Francis in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, the Berkley B1 Canadian Bass Open is an annual competitive bass fishing event at the highest level in Canada. The two-day open format contest attracts bass anglers from as far east as Nova Scotia and as far west as Lake of the Woods. The star-studded list of participants reads like a who's who of the tournament and media world. It is the largest event of its kind in Quebec and one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year. This year's purse is more than $120,000. The weigh-in ceremony will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 3-6 pm at Sauve Park.
"Now that all of Quebec's passionate anglers have the ability to get WFN though Videotron and the other local cable, satellite and telco providers, we will play an even bigger role in supporting Quebec's fishing community," said Mark Rubinstein, President & CEO of WFN. "We look forward to introducing WFN and our personalities to Quebec anglers at events such as the Berkley B1."
"The Berkley B1 is proud to have WFN as an event partner," states Ben Woo, President, Berkley B1. "It only makes sense that the premier competitive fishing event in Canada collaborates with North America's only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network to bring the ultimate experience to the fans."
WFN is offered to Videotron subscribers on channel #57 as part of the company's Custom, Mega and Sports Packages or as an à la carte offering.
