Week 3 Report - December 2011
Offshore the sailfish bite was good in 75 ? 150 feet along with the kingfish. In 150-600 feet and dorado around the weed lines, wahoo and tuna were hitting skirted and naked ballyhoo on the troll. On the reefs and wrecks kingfish were biting on the reefs, mutton snappers and the usual reef critters biting. The swordfish bite has been steady. Bobby Boyle from RJ Boyles studio in Lighthouse Point landed a 555 pound swordfish on a daytime drop.
Near shore on the piers, along the beaches and in the ICW Spanish mackerel, snappers, blue runners, pompano, and snook were around the docks and bridges at night.
Congrats to Bobby Boyle and his quadruple marker slob!
