Have you ever thrown away a cooler because of the horrible odor and nasty mess after you left something in it? I have, but it won’t happen again because of a new product that works with a “Double down” technology. By neutralizing and counteracting odors, you can now stand a good chance of saving your coolers.
“Double down” technology neutralizes and counteracts odors at a molecular level. If you’re a hunter and familiar with scent control, this may sound very similar in the way it works. It makes sense that if you attack scent or smell at the molecular level; you can control and even eliminate it.

After taking an old cooler packed with acorns and oak leaves that had been sitting outside for several weeks in the rain and sun, I added my own ingredients to this mess. I took the cooler and added raspberry jam, mustard, Dijon mustard (just because) mayo (Miracle Whip of course) and I forgot the other stuff. Anyway, once inside the cooler, I shut it and let it work for about three weeks.
After the three weeks, I sprayed the inside with Cooler-D-Funk and let sit for about an hour and a half. I had to scrape off the jelly and some of the other ingredients. I sprayed again and let sit for another one and a half days and began to clean again. Keep in mind this cooler was heavily soiled and had a very “sharp” smell to it. After only 12 minutes total of cleaning I have an almost new cooler that I can still use with no smell and next to a new look.
I am looking forward to using and reviewing their Fish-D-Funk. I have already used their odor controlling hunting wipes for body and gear this past season with great success. After what I have experienced with Cooler-D-Funk, I am even more confident that their hunting wipes help control human scent on me and my gear.
