Southeast Florida Fishing Report ? Week 4? September 2012Offshore on the troll, Dorado, Kingfish and BFT were in 200-500 feet, north of HBI. On the dark side, the swordfish bite was good.On the reefs and wrecks, Yellowtail and Mutton Snapper, Kingfish, and Grouper, were in 60-130 feet Sardines and cut baits were bait of choice.Near shore, along the beaches, piers, inlets and the Intracoastal Waterway, bait was thick. Blue fish, Blue Runners, Spanish mackerel, Snappers, and Jacks, were biting shrimp, sardines, cut baits and lures. The best Snook action was around docks, bridges at night.In freshwater the bass bite was good outside of grass lines in the early morning. Live shiners, spinner baits and topwater baits produced good results.Tight Lines, Bent Poles, and Screaming Drags!!!Stay Salty My Friends!!!!
