Southeast Florida ? Week 3 Report ? June 2012

Foul weather kept many anglers from heading out. Those that found a window found fish. Offshore on the troll, dorado were biting between 110-320 feet around weed lines and floating debris. Kingfish were in 90-140 feet, with some BFT mixed in and sailfish were in 130-210 feet.

On the reefs and wrecks, yellowtail, mutton, and mangrove snapper, grouper, bonito and kingfish were in 40-140 feet.

Near shore, along the beaches, piers, inlets and Intracoastal Waterway, bluefish were Spanish mackerel, blue runners, snappers, pompano, permit, snook and tarpon were along the beaches and around the piers. In the Intracoastal the snook bite around docks and bridges, but remember to catch and release, the season is closed. Tarpon were rolling in the inlets and along the beach. Live mullet, pinfish and crabs produced good results.
