Simple Venison Steak Marinade Recipe

This venison marinade recipe is very versatile and can work with nearly any wild game meat, such as antelope, elk or bison

Michele Eichler, one of Sportsman Channel's Top 20 Most Deadly Women Bowhunters, spills the secret to her recipe for simple venison marinade.

Yield: Approximately 2 ½ cups

Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup A-1 steak sauce
  • 4 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup onion, chopped

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients and let venison steak, or your favorite wild game, marinate overnight.

2. Remove from refrigerator and grill meat on medium-heat until desired doneness is reached.
