SHOT SHOW 2016: FN Military Collector Series

SHOT Show 2016, FN Military Collector FN America had their Military Collector Series showcased at SHOT Show 2016.

At SHOT Show 2016, FN America, was very excited to announce the launch of the FN Military Collector Series, a product line that will feature commercial variants of FN's most iconic and historic military designs. The initial products to be featured in the series will be the FN 15 Military Collector M4 and M16 as well as the semi-automatic FN M249S, a replica of the fully-automatic M249 SAW or Squad Automatic Weapon in service with the U.S. Military since the 1980's.

FN 15 Military Collector M4

The FN 15 Military Collector M4 holds a 5.56mm NATO caliber and has a 16" Button-broached barrel, chrome-lined, alloy-steel w/ pinned and welded compensator. The gun has an A2-style front sight (F height), and a Back up iron sight. Featuring an aluminum 30-round magazine, trigger pull at just 4.75 lbs and MSRP of $1,749, this FN 15 is one gun you need to get ahold of.

Moving on to the FN 15 Military Collector M16, this magnificent gun holds the same 5.56mm NATO caliber, but features a 20" Button-broached, chrome-lined, alloy-steel barrel. Sporting an A2-style compensator and for the rail a Knights Armament M5 RAS Adapter rail w/ rail adapter covers. You can own the Fn 15 Military Collector M16 for MSRP of $1,749.

Last but certainly not least, The FN M249S, a semi-automatic version of the M249 SAW light machinegun, was originally developed by FN Herstal as the FN MINIMI and adopted by the U.S. Military in 1988. The new FN M249S Military Collector edition features the signature 20.5-inch FN cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and operates from a closed bolt position. Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, the rifle will accept both magazine and linked ammunition belt and offers a 4.0-6.5 pound trigger pull out-of-the-box. You can have a piece of military history for only an MSRP of $7,999.
