Outdoor Channel Stars Shine Bright At ACM Awards

At the 2011 Academy Of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 3, in Las Vegas, Nevada, there were plenty of faces you may have recognized from various appearances on Outdoor Channel's show lineup.
Blake Shelton co-hosted the show alongside Reba McEntire. Shelton was nominated for Top Male Vocalist Of The Year and Video Of The Year for Hillbilly Bone. Outdoor Channel viewers would recognize Shelton, an avid hunter, from his many appearances on shows such as Bone Collector , Gettin' Close , The Crush With Lee And Tiffany , and Hunter's Specialties Outdoors .
Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band is the co-host of new show on Outdoor Channel, Fear No Evil . Zac Brown and his band were nominated for Top Vocal Group Of The Year, Album of The Year, Single Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Vocal Event Of The Year. They won the Vocal Event Of The Year award for their song "As She's Walking Away". They capped off the awards show with a great closing performance with legend James Taylor.

The night's biggest winner was Miranda Lambert. Lambert won four awards over the course of the evening - Female Vocalist Of The Year, Single Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Video Of The Year. Her win for Female Vocalist Of The Year was her second consecutive win in this category. Lambert, who is engaged to Shelton, is also an avid hunter, and you may have seen her hunting on shows such as Hunter's Specialties Outdoors and Addicted To The Outdoors .
