In the last few days I became aware of a program I've never even heard of before. The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Angler Awards. These are awards, given to people (Registered Ontario Resident, or not) that catch and register trophy fish in Ontario. Anglers that register their trophy's can have them viewed by others online, as well as a certificate in his or her name. There is also a ranking system for catching a certain amount of trophy fish.Here are the minimum lengths of fish:Black Crappie: 10 Inches                       Brown Trout: 21 Inched                      Coho Salmon: 30 InchesMuskie: 36 Inches                                    Rainbow Trout: 36 Inches                 Splake: 20 InchesYellow Perch: 12 Inches                         Bluegill: 9 Inches                                 Carp: 30 InchesLake Trout: 26 Inches                             Northern Pike: 30 Inches                    Rock Bass: 10 InchesWalleye: 25 Inches                                  Brook/Speckled Trout: 18 Inches      Chinook Salmon: 36 InchesLargemouth Bass: 18 Inches               Pumpkinseed: 9 Inches                      Smallmouth Bass: 17 InchesWhitefish: 22 InchesRanking System:Future Angler: 0 Entries                         Junior Angler: 1-10 Entries                  Senior Angler: 11-30 EntriesPro Angler: 31-49 Entries                      Master Angler: 50-79 EntriesGrand Master Angler: 80+ EntriesIf you ever want to make Grand Master Angler you better get fishing.To fill out a entry form visit: //www.ontarioanglerawards.com/index.cfm
