"It was hot, hot, hot! We had 45 teams from 10 states. 45 kids fished in the Cabela's King Kat free Kids Rodeo, said Tournament Director Tanner Tabor. The river was dropping throughout the day with a large crowd attending in the heat to see a really exciting weigh-in with several fish over 40 pounds. I want to thank Angie Shelton and Metropolis Tourism for making this event a huge success. We also had Debbie from Q&M Watersports which brought one of the outstanding SeaArk boats to display to all attending this major event. It was the first time for the Cabela's King Kat Tournament Trail being in Metropolis with everyone having a really good time and the local hospitality second to none", said Tournament Director Tanner Tabor!
