Jackson Takes First Place On Table Rock Lake

Kevin Jackson is one step closer to the ABA National Championship with a first-place win worth $281 in an American Fishing Tour bass tournament held on Table Rock Lake, Missouri this past weekend.

Jackson weighed in four fish at 10.49 pounds to take the title. Second place went to Joe Hreha with 8.33 pounds, while Max Ray took third with 6.31 pounds. Big bass was awarded was to Robert Swearngin for catching a 4.01-pound largemouth.

His winning strategy proved to be finding the right water color. He made a long run to little Indian creek and went to work with a spinnerbait.

These anglers are acquiring valuable points towards their divisions? two-day championship and the National Championship that will be held this fall. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.

The top five anglers were:

  • 1. Kevin Jackson 10.49 Lbs.
  • Joe Hreha 8.33 Lbs.
  • Max Ray 6.31 Lbs.
  • Robert Swearngin 4.01 Lbs.
5. Bryan Jackson 2.32 Lbs.

Winning Strategy: Kevin made a long run to little Indian creek in order to find right water color and then went to work with his spinner bait.

Next Divisional Tournament: This division?s next tournament will be April 21, 2012 on Table Rock Lake out of Cape Fair.
