200-Inch Trophy Buck Could Be New Nebraska Record

Kevin Petrzilka, with the help of his two sons, drops buck that could top state list and rank in the top 10 of all time.

Kevin Petrzilka was repairing some downed electric fence near Brainard, NE when he got a call from his son Mason, 17, saying he had just missed a monster buck, but the young man knew where the animal was at.

The father grabbed his rifle and other son, Dillon, 20, and headed out to help. After a quick meeting to set up a drive, the trio headed out to see if they could harvest the animal.

Peering through thick cedars, Kevin was able to get a shot off at the buck as it passed by quickly, dropping the animal that green scored 203 4/8, possibly a new Nebraska state record.
