TULSA, Okla. – Brent Ehrler and Denny Brauer see if they can rekindle their Jack Link’s Major League Fishing magic during Episode Two of the 2013 GEICO Challenge Cup from Florida’s Lake Istokpoga. The past champions are in the field together on Elimination Day Two, which will air July 12 at 1pm ET on World Fishing Network.
Ehrler, champion of the inaugural Major League Fishing event on Lake Amistad in Texas, and Brauer, who won the league’s event on Chautauqua Lake in New York, join a field that also includes Mike Iaconelli, Alton Jones, Gary Klein, Skeet Reese, Tim Horton and first-time MLF competitor Randy Howell.
“We like the fact that our first two champions are in the field together,” said Major League Fishing Commissioner Don Rucks. “We also have Randy Howell in the field. He brings us an incredible amount of enthusiasm for this event. He really enjoyed competing in this event, and I think that will be evident.”
Challenge Cup coverage will air six times per week during the third quarter of 2015 on World Fishing Network.
