Easy Panfish Recipe with Beer

One of my favourite things to do is have my family over for a fish fry, well that is if I can catch enough fish over a few days to be able to lol....and the easiest and a delicious way (atleast that's what they tell me) to do that is with my basic and super easy beer batter recipe. It goes great with almost any type of fish. I use it alot with panfish like perch and bigger fish like walleye and pike.

  • 1 Cup of warm beer
  • 1 Cup of flour (use a bit more or less to get the right consistency)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika (smoked or regular)

Basically you guys can take it from there you can add any type of spice you want, create any type of flavours you would like to add to it. After its done the batter should be a light, fluffy, crispy coating around the fish that you'll love.Enjoy and Good fishing, Kinger
