Try this for Catfish and Walleye

This recipe isn't one we came up with on our own but found and have tried with varies type of fish, not always with the same outcome, it works best with catfish.3 tablespoons vegetable oil1 1/2 pound catfish fillets, cut into serving pieces1 cup cornmeal2 teaspoons creole seasoning1 teaspoon paprika1/2  teaspoon ground black pepper1 teaspoon white sugar2 eggs lightly beaten1 tablespoon hot peppersauce or waterDirections1) Preheat an oven to 425 degress f ( 220 degress c ) grease a 13 x 9 glass baking dish with oil and set aside2) rinse the catfish fillets and pat dry. In a shallow bowl combine the cornmeal, creole seasoning, paprika, sugar, and black pepper. Combine the eggs and hot sauce or water in a another bowl. Dip the fillets in the egg mixture, dredge in the cornmeal mixture and arrange in the baking pan.3) Bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brow. Turn once during cooking. Place catfish on a paper towel lined plate, and serve immediately with additionaal hot sauce.Like I said before we have tried this recipe with different fish, some good some not, but seem to work very well with catfish and walleye. The picture are of my grandson and the bass he caught from a pond here in town, right behind  a sub division and acrossed from a house hospital
