First Shot Event in Denver Colorado Aug 6 (An event for kids interested in hunting and fishing)

If you are kid just getting started hunting or fishing this is a free event and it might be right for you.Colorado Division of Wildlife First Shot Event in Denver Aug. 6DENVER -- Families new to wildlife recreation are invited to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife North Denver office to take their First Shot!  Officer Tim Woodward, district wildlife manager for the metro area will teach novice shooters and anglers how to get the most out of the outdoors.WHO:   People with little or no experience in wildlife recreation (participants must be eight years and older for archery and shooting)WHAT:  First Shot -- Intro to Archery, Fishing, and ShootingWHEN:   Saturday, Aug. 6 , 8 a.m. to noonWHERE:   Colorado Parks and Wildlife, 6060 Broadway, DenverHOW:  To register for this FREE event, please e-mail tony.dymek@state.co.us or call 303-291-7804 and leave a message with your name,  address, and phone number.Spaces are limited to 75 kids so register early.
