Experience the 2011 Texas Fishing, Hunting and Outdoors Show on Jan. 6-9
Imagine catching that world-class bass or challenging your aim as you focus on the elusive 10-point buck. Now imagine doing this at Dallas Market Hall on Jan. 6-9. Bring the entire family and discover the great outdoors at the 15th annual Texas Fishing, Hunting and Outdoors Show.
"Among the big features of this years show, a 4,000-gallon bass tank will give fishing enthusiasts a rare underwater view of how the fish react to a variety of lures and techniques," said show Executive Director Janet Hoppenstein. "Throughout the show pros will demonstrate great angling tips from atop the bass tank. Professional anglers, including 2008 Bassmaster Classic Champion Alton Jones, Zell Rowland and Mr. Crappie, Wally Marshall, along with top hunting guides will present seminars throughout the event."
Children can also discover the great outdoors at the show. The first 250 kids on Saturday and Sunday will receive a free rod. They can try their hand at fishing in the catfish tank, cheer on their own minnow at the minnow races, shoot at the archery range, swing on the bungee and climb the rock wall in the "Youth in the Wild" Kids Cove.
