EPIC Outdoor Game Fair Promises Outdoor Fun for the Whole Family

For outdoorsmen and women, fall in the southeast brings the promise of days in the field just around the corner.  If you are itching to get ahead on your hunting season preparations, or if you're looking to take advantage of fishing in cooler temperatures, or if you just want the chance to get outside with the whole family then you need to head to the EPIC Outdoor Game Fair. The event will run September 23-25, 2011 at the Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club outside Atlanta, GA.

Hosted by Safari Club International Foundation and Quail Unlimited, the EPIC Outdoor Game Fair will feature hands-on opportunities and live entertainment as well as vendors from across the outdoor sporting industry. The best-of-the-best of the outdoor industry are sponsoring the event including Beretta, Crosman, Laser Shot, John Rigby, Mossy Oak, Yamaha, Eukanuba, Orvis, and others.

The EPIC Outdoor Game Fair is going to have a first-rate lineup of activities that cater to outdoor enthusiasts with all levels of experience. EPIC stands for Education, Participation, Instruction and Competition, and the villages spread across Foxhall's 1,100 acres along the Chattahoochee River will provide just that.

Is your interest in shooting a new, first-class sporting clays course, or testing vintage and fine guns? Then head down to the Shooting Village.  What about 3-D archery or sporting arrows? Then you need to go to the Archery Village. Trying your hand for the first time at fly-fishing? The fishing village will likely capture your attention. Do you need pointers on training your pointer? Then spend some quality time at the Canine Village.  Want to try out a new ATV? The ATV Village will have a demo course along the river. Or what about a change of pace watching cowboy mounted action shooting at the equestrian village.  If your interest is falconry, the birds of prey village will be a destination for you.

You'll have the opportunity to learn from top instructors during seminars throughout the event.  Vendor tents will include guns, apparel, guide and travel services and much more. Extreme shooters Patrick Flanigan and Scott Matthews will be performing at the Shooting Village throughout the weekend. And when you're tired from trying your hand at these great events, settle in for a concert at the Entertainment Stage '“ Crossin Dixon will open on Friday night, local bands will play throughout the weekend, and Aaron Tippin will provide the closing act on Sunday evening, all part of your basic grounds admission.

EPIC Outdoor Game Fair will provide fun and entertainment for the entire family and one day will not be enough.  Tickets are on sale at http://www.epicgamefair.org - tickets bought in advance are cheaper than buying onsite and discounted 3-day packages are only available online. Proceeds from the EPIC Outdoor Game Fair support Safari Club International Foundation's conservation, education and humanitarian programs around the world.
