Dynamic Lures..Alot of Lure for Not alot of Money!
When a lure can be compared to, and people say it fishes better than a Taz or Kastmaster...I think for a lure and its company, you are doing something right! This product review is for a new Colorado based company called Dynamic Lures. As a Pro Staff member for this company, I can honestly say that I have never been able to use a lure to catch virtually any kind of fish that swims the water without using a costumer until nowFirst I will start off by talking about the HD Trout..its a 2.25in mini crankbait that is a slow sink, and swims to depths of 3 feet. Alot of people may compare it to a Rapala Countdown, but it's not...it has WAY more action without the help of moving water...has 2 bb's that bounce around inside and the motion is a medium to fast shimmy depending on water movement. Great on lakes, and rivers or ponds..It comes in 10 different colors. I recently went out trolling at Spinney Mountain Reservoir and met up with one of my new fishing buddies. His favorite lure to use to troll there for trout was a Pink Taz with black stripes...So we decided to put the HD's up to the test against one of the best trout lures in the rockie mountains! We put 3 HD trout, using a snap weight to get them to go down deep and his favorite Taz on another pole using the same technique. Within 10 minutes we had brought in 5 fish on the Trout HD and only had one hit on the taz...time continued and after 3 hrs of trolling the final numbers were Trout HD 18 fish and the Taz 1 fish...My buddy couldn't believe it and now has a new favorite lure (as mine 7 months ago was a cutthroat kasty) as do I! Compare a HD for $4.55 to a countdown that is around $5.50 to $6Now I will talk about their Swimbait...Dynamo..Great for guys who like pitching big swimbaits for pike, muskie, bass etc, this Hard plastic, 3 segment, 7in, Lipped and Lipless swimbait is awesome! I don't personally use swimbaits that often but fellow Pro Staffer Kris Johnson tears up the Pike at Navajo and Vallecito Reservoirs in Southwestern Colorado. With the price of $12.95 you will not find a better hard plastic swimbait for the price! The Newest Additon for the Lure Company is a 4.75in Jerkbait called the HD XXL that is like no other! With the Change-A-Weight system feature anglers have a floating, suspending, and sinking jerk bait all in one! The Change-A-Weight system is easy to use..Just simply open the soft plastic chamber cap, and take all the weights out for a floating lure, add a few weights to get it to suspend at your desired depth, or put them all in there for a sinking lure! The action is similar to the smaller HD Trout and I have had great success in the rivers here in colorado for trout, and had the opportunity to troll with them for trout and did really well just Flat-Line trolling it behind the boat! This lure is perfect for walleye as well, I've had success fishing the river inlets for spring pre-spawn walleye and another Co Pro Staffer Jeremy Cooley caught is personal best Male walleye this spring on a Gold Black XXL, coming in at 30 3/4in and 10.4 lbs! The price tag for this multi-specie lure that you don't have to throw lead tape on is $8.95 and comes in 10 colors!Dynamic Lures is dedicated to making better, more efficient lures that cost less! If you haven't heard of them or fished with any of their lures...you're truly missing out!Check out their website: www.dynamiclures.com
